THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL - VISIT WWW.VOTEMCCURDY.ORG

Note: Please check on the comments section of this post to see some text referred to in the Independent; at times, they have to cut some of that out, so take a look.

My website, VoteMcCurdy.org comes back to life! As you know, Littleton is in the heat of another election season. I am the focal point of a challenge by Paul Glavey. I welcome the opportunity because it helps get the numerous issues into the view of citizens.

Unlike my opponent, I will not try to scare you with words of looming "storm clouds", reclaiming something supposedly lost. That is political harangue and spin. I see something far more positive in that we are moving forward, issues are being addressed through open meetings. Citizens have been empowered, economic development is not the lure of "chocolate candy"; our outreach is real. We have increased our governmental efficiency and transparency, captured the previously elusive financial picture, assisted our elderly population. We have risen even in the toughest of financial times. I see a hopeful future and to me it's a breath of fresh air when compared to the senseless and contemptuous power struggles of the past. We finally have a government focused solely on befitting its people. But we have much more to do!

Please visit my web site at www.votemccurdy.org and continue to read here with over 7400 hits! I am your Selectman and ask that you provide me the honor of serving you another three years. Please Vote May 9th!
